The Best Age for a Disney Trip

We get asked a lot “What’s the best age to take my child to Disney World?” We suggest looking at it from a different angle, for example, “What’s the best time to throw your child a birthday party?” The answer to that is the same: Anytime you want to create magical memories!

Our children remember things from all of our Disney trips. We have clients who tell us months after their vacation that they still sit around talking about it. Anytime you can create something that has you saying, “Hey, remember when…” you should get right on it! There are only so many years we have with them before our children are off on their own with children of their own.

Disney has something for people of all ages. We’ve been there on our honeymoon – without kids! — with babies as young as 9 months old and with a wide age range of children – and everyone had something that they loved. Some memory they will hold on to forever. And, if we are being honest with ourselves, trips to Disney really aren’t about the kids — they’re about those memories you cherish. Not their ability to remember the trip, but instead your own. So don’t wait! Or you just might run out of time….

So there isn’t a perfect age to take your kids to Disney World or on a Disney cruise or a guided tour to many fascinating destinations worldwide with Adventures by Disney. Going to Disney is like any other vacation you would take — only better! Get with us to plan your adventure full of magical memories!

Why You Need a Travel Agent to Plan Your Disney Trip

With the ease of the Internet, you might be wondering why you need to use a travel agent to book a Disney trip. We specialize in all things Disney, so we could give you tons of reasons, but here’s our Top 5:

  1. It’s FREE! It would cost you exactly the same to book your trip on your own directly with Disney as it costs to book through us. Disney realizes it can be overwhelming to plan a trip, so they compensate us without passing that charge on to you (so there’s no need to price shop!)
  2. We watch for special discounts and work our hardest to get those discounts applied to your vacation, even after you’ve already booked your trip! So using us actually can SAVE you money!
  3. We guide you through all of the planning process – We help you figure out which of the 26 resort properties is best for your family and which time of year works best for your needs; we get up at 5 a.m. 180 days before your trip to get you the best dining reservations; we help you plan your park itinerary and FastPasses (Disney’s “ride reservation” system); we make sure you know how to navigate the parks and the technology Disney employs to make your trip as seamless as possible. In a nutshell – we handle it ALL! You just pack and go, and we even give you a packing list!
  4. Think of us as your personal “Google” when you have questions! Did you know that if you search “Disney World,” there are 181,000,000 entries? Do you really want to sort through all of that to figure out what information is still relevant when you could just send us an email, text or Facebook message and get a quick, accurate answer?
  5. We’re experts! We’ve booked more than 2,500 trips and have more than 26 years’ worth of experience between us. This isn’t a hobby for any of us; it’s our full-time jobs and we treat it as such. We are experts in the Disney resorts, restaurants, rides, and more; Disney Cruise Line; Adventures by Disney (guided tours to destinations all over the world); and A’ulani, a Disney resort and spa in Hawaii. We’ve actually been to these locations and experienced them ourselves. We make it a point to visit them regularly to stay current on all the latest changes so that we can plan the best adventure for your family!

Quite simply, helping plan your dream Disney vacation isn’t a job to us – it’s our passion!

Best Way to Budget for a Disney Trip

Want to know the easiest way to save money for your dream Disney trip? It’s really easy – plan ahead! It’s like a virtual layaway plan!

Let me explain….You can book Disney World trips more than a year in advance. This means that you can make payments, on your own terms, for over a year, sometimes longer! All you need to get started is a $200 deposit, which is fully refundable until 30 days from your travel date. And any payments you make toward that trip are refundable as well (with the exception of travel insurance premiums). So you can pay a little each week or once a month – whatever works best for you.

Right now you can book trips through the end of 2018. Sometime this summer, Disney will release bookings through the end of 2019, in case you really want to plan ahead! (And with the coming Star Wars Land set to open in 2019, you just might want to plan really far ahead!)

Another reason planning ahead saves you money – we watch for discounts that will save you money. If you already have a trip booked, we automatically apply that discount to your trip, assuming there is availability, which means you’re first in line on discount release days. And it costs you nothing to use our services when you stay at a Disney resort. Disney knows that planning a trip can be overwhelming so they pay us to assist you without passing that cost on to you. We help you determine which resort, park ticket, dining plan, etc., will work best for your family’s needs.

If a Disney cruise is what you’re planning for – you can book those even further in advance. And Disney rewards cruisers who plan ahead. Disney cruises are priced similarly to hotel rooms – the more full the sailing becomes, the more expensive it is to get a stateroom.

So, what are you waiting for? Bet you didn’t know it could be this easy! All you have to do is contact us – click the Start Planning button to fill out a no-obligation request for a quote, email or call one of us. Whatever works best for you! We promise to make planning your Disney trip simple – all you have to do is pack a bag!

From Muggles to Wizards: VIP Experience at Universal Studio’s Harry Potter World

Step onto Platform 9 ¾ and begin a journey where YOU become the student. YOU defend against the Dark Arts. YOU could become the Chosen One.

That’s right – We also specialize in trips to Universal Studios Orlando and there’s still time to book a Spring Break trip! And with a private VIP Harry Potter Experience, you can tour the Wizarding World of Harry Potter as only a student of Hogwarts can. Use your spells wisely and you might just graduate!Gringotts

This tour offers a really cool package to families who are big Harry Potter fans. You won’t just walk into Hogsmeade and see a bunch of stores, you’ll get to experience all of the magic and wonder hidden in this part of the park that has brought the books to life (and bypass the long lines, too!)

The fun starts before you even leave home! You’ll be “sorted” into a house and receive an acceptance letter to Hogwarts. This private, 5-hour tour is the ultimate way to immerse yourself in the world of Harry Potter. You may start your journey as a muggle, but you’re sure to leave a wizard – especially after the proper wand chooses you at Olivanders Wand Shop.

And there’s so much more to Universal Studios than just Harry Potter! In addition to the Universal Studios and Islands of Adventures theme parks, there’s also a water theme park, Volcano Bay, that opened last May, and it is thrilling! Don’t like lugging a raft around a water park or waiting on the hot concrete in long lines? This park not only has some exciting rides, it has cool technology that allows you to wait “virtually” in a line! And there are no rafts to carry around!

And entertainment and dining options are endless at CityWalk. No trip would be complete without seeing The Blue Man Group!

Let’s get started planning! Our services are complimentary when you book your vacation package with us!
